Fairoaks Skatepark Sunnyvale California

Sunnyvale is about the funnest park there is for any skater. I dont know one person who has said anything bad about Sunnyvale except that they “skated it too much this week”. The big wide sidewalks around the perimeter of the park let you push around and warm up before rolling into a bowl or hitting a rail, every skatepark made should have this!! The smooth concrete throughout is very nice and makes for a nice “utopian cruiser” feeling when you skate. The bowl lets you continuously ride and never loose speed. Theres lots of coping and a vert wall to get you going again. The street course is wide and open letting you jam around with speed or just try tricks on the pryamid hips.

Located just a a few minutes north of San Jose in Sunnyvale California, off of highway 101 take Fairoaks exit and go south about 3/4 mile.

Street course has a mellow pyramid with flat and down ledge, bank to ledge/wall, mini-mini bowl with hip is connected to street course, mini bowl / half pipe is connected to street course and has a channel and spine going to the big bowl, big bowl has a steep 9 foot vert wall, 8 foot deep bowl, twinkie, the rest of the bowl is about 5.5 feet deep, the perimeter of the park has 2 rails and 2 small hubba ledges, a 4 stair, tall flat bar (please someone cut this down 6 inches!), 5 tiered step up ledge, a surounding curb and very tall ledge that all has metal coping.
