2009 Tim Brauch Memorial Skate Jam

The 2009 Tim Brauch Memorial Skate Jam was held at Greer Skatepark in Palo Alto Ca. on June 13th 2009. After 10 years of “TMB” Memorial Skate Jams the idea came up to bring it back to the first skatepark where it was held. Also in rememberance was Phil Shao, a Bay Area skate legend. Tim and Phil were always known to rule Greer’s bowls and smooth hips. Not to mention its taunting “Volcano”.

Greer has so many coats of spray paint that it was a little difficult for people to adapt to the rough slipperyness. Seemed like you needed some hard cruiser wheels to get some grip on the walls and maintain speed. It was definitely great to see some heads out there rippin and hanging out.
